SOLON AG, Greifswald

Solon Nord AG has provided expert services in the photovoltaic field from its headquarters in Greifswald since 2004. Standardized solar modules rated from 215 to 230 W are manufatured on six production lines. Solon Nord is a 100% subsidiary of Solon AG in Berlin, Germany’s largest solar module manufacturer.

Nordex AG, Rostock

Nordex AG has designed and manufactured wind turbines in the upper performance classes for the international market since 1995. The company’s milestones include the installation of the first offshore variant near Frederikshaven in 2003 as well as the installation of Germany’s first offshore turbine near Rostock in 2006. The company’s know-how lies in the development of rotor blades measuring up to 45 meters in length.

Solara AG’s Solar Power Factory, Wismar

Solara AG is a top provider in the field of photovoltaics. The new Solar Sonnenstromfabrik Wismar GmbH, a subsidiary of the Centrosolar Group AG (Munich) has built one of Germany’s largest production facilities for solar modules. The new solar module plants operates almost fully automatically and thereby secures cost effective manufacturing in addition to maintining high qulity standards in a globally competitive market. The new plant has increased the production capacity in Wismar 5-fold.
