Corporate Structure

The shareholders of the Invest in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH (Economic Development Corporation) are the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with more than 50% of the corporate shares, the chambers of commerce and trade corporations of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, banks and the Unternehmensverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.

Purpose of the Company

Through marketing and consultation activities both in Germany and abroad, the GfW seeks to promote investment and the establishment of businesses in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern with the aim of supporting economic development and job creation in the state.
We provide comprehensive information on all issues regarding investment conditions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and actively seek companies from outside the region for business establishment or business acquisition in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or for cooperative partnerships with regional companies.
